My Hero.
The return of my wonderful brave soldier was the gift I prayed forevery night, and it was wonderful when mine and my family’s prayers were answered this January. Little Zoe and Andrew were only two and six when Jason was deployed first for twelve months and of course it was extended – I can assure you the last three months were the worst and it just seemed like forever.
Deployment Ring – Happiness In Clarksville.
If you’ve been to Clarksville in and have ever had the opportunity to
visit Fort Campbell you will notice one strong element amongst the military community there, and thats a sense of togetherness and one for all and all for one. Yes we look out for each other and the family support groups are second to none. During moments of despair I’ve gone to the group activities and felt like these are my sisters and brothers looking out for me and my family wile my hero and brave warrior was away. For his return it was my intention to get for him a military ring well actually a custom deployment ring to commemorate his twelve months away from home.
My Gift To Him – A Custom Military Ring.
I spoke to Jason on the phone as often as I could and then Andrew was next in line for his conversation with dad, they spoke about football and school and Andrew would tell him how he was looking after little Zoe and how big she was getting. Those were actually the hardest moments listening to the little excited voice talking to his hero and having to say goodbye.
During our conversation Jason said all he wanted from Iraq was to have a deployment ring with all his details on it, like his name his unit emblem and the dates of his service and deployment. This is the one thing I made sure that he was going to have, so I did my research and one of my friends had just received a ring from Society Gifts the global military ring jewelry shop that does a fantastic range military rings.
To day he wears, with pride his “Deployment Ring ” and its beautiful.
